To Aru Kagaku no Railgun aka A Certain Scientific Railgun is one more story taking place in Academy City. This time it centers around BiriBiri, aka Misaka Mikoto, one of the few Level 5 in the whole city. If you watched To Aru Majutsu no Index you already know her and her roommate and close friend Shirai Kuroko, who is also a member of ‘Judgment’. If you didn’t watch the first show, go watch it. But you can start with Railgun as well, since they explain the basics at the beginning of the episode.
Personally I like the 1st ep veeeery much ^_^ Plenty of fanservice and action. Probably, it’s even better than I thought it would be. There are plenty of yuri fanart featuring Kuroko and her electric Onee-sama, and after the shower scene from the 1st ep I expect a tsunami of it. Oh well, they are quite popular.
The 1st ep also introduces new characters – Uiharu Kazari and Saten Ruiko. They are classmates and friends. Well, more than friends I suppose. One more yuri pairing for you ^_^
