I couldn’t even imagine that I would totally fall in love with this one. Kobato. anime is pure magic, it definitely has something, that glues you to the screen. I was unable to take my eyes off. Not only the art is beautiful, the whole atmosphere is so charming and Kobato is so cute, that I can’t but adore this anime. Btw, Kobato’s singing moved me to tears.
As for the plot, Kobato. is based on two mangas: the ongoing Kobato. and Wish, which was published between 1996 and 1998. If you are familiar with Kobato. manga, you can clearly see the difference in the anime storyline. For example, Kobato gets the bottle in the very first episode. As for me, I totally love the manga, and now I plan to read Wish to understand the story better.
I recommend this one as a must-see, even if you are not into CLAMP. I’m sure, that this anime will be popular, because it’s very well done. I’m sure, Kobato will heal your heart as well.
