Лучше бы это аниме сняла студия SHAFT. Нет, ну правда – юмор в их духе. Kyoto Animation, конечно, студия замечательная, но это аниме получилось скучноватым, хоть и качественным. Оно странное, но по сравнению с другими сюрреалистическими комедиями выглядит бледно. И даже принц на белом козле не спасает положение. В общем, ничего особенного. И как-то мне не хочется смотреть целых 26 серий, чтобы узнать, станет ли оно лучше.

SHAFT should have done this anime. I mean, those gags are so SHAFT-style! KyoAni is definitely an awesome studio, but this anime is boring despite its high quality. It’s weird, but in comparison with other surrealistic comedies it’s way too normal. And even the prince on a white goat doesn’t save the situation. Nothing special, really. And I don’t feel like watching all 26 eps to find out if it will get any better.
